Vinyl Colours
Our spa covers are built with superior marine grade vinyl that can withstand the harsh extremes of our Canadian climate. Not only is the fabric resistant to seasonal extremes it can also stand up against chemicals and UV rays. Developed to withstand the harsh environment of Canadian hot tub and spa covers: -40C in the winter and +40C in the summer; chemicals; UV, makes this one of the worst environments for vinyl products. Even under these conditions, our vinyl preforms better than any product on the market.

Features/Specifications – Atlantis Fabric
What is Atlantis Fabric:
Atlantis is a lightweight 100% solution-dyed polyester fabric with a durable, waterproof PU backing. This high-quality, entry-level outdoors covers fabric has excellent UV and mildew resistance for multiple end-uses. With excellent colorfastness, Atlantis will look brand new for years.
Why Choose Atlantis Fabric over Vinyl:
Atlantis an excellent alternative to vinyl. Atlantis is up to 25% lighter than vinyl and has a urethane coating which enhances the stability of the weaved polyester. This allows greater water resistance and minimizes any shrinkage or stretching which naturally occurs over time with vinyl. Atlantis fabric is highly resistant to: UV rays, water, mold & mildew and tears & abrasions.
How to Care for Atlantis Fabric:

Caring for Atlantis material is easy, there is no additional hassle in maintaining an Atlantis hot tub cover.
Atlantis is designed to be easily maintained. It can be simply washed, brushed off and rinsed. Regular and proper care and cleaning are important to extend the life of any fabric.
For regular care, mix 4 tablespoons of a mild soap (like dawn), to 4 litres of lukewarm water. Then use a soft bristle brush to clean the material and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Allow to air dry.
For more stubborn stains, add up to 1 cup of bleach to 4 litres of water. Mix and spray lightly on the fabric face (non coated side). It is important that you never soak the fabric. Rinse immediately. Do not leave this solution on the fabric for any longer than 2 minutes.
Never use any harsh cleaners (i.e. straight bleach) as this will remove the water repellency of the fabric. You may then have to have the material re-treated.
Features/Specifications – Vinyl Fabric
What is Vinyl:
Marine-grade vinyl is made to be durable, resistant to abrasion and mildew, and colorfast. It also has the ability to withstand extreme temperature changes and weather events.
How to Care for Vinyl Fabric:

In order to protect vinyl from wear do not use any detergent-based soaps, alcohol products, dishwashing soaps, or any cleaning products containing bleach. It is best to simply use water and some elbow grease.
Periodically inspect the cover for any signs of wear. Small cuts or holes in the vinyl may allow moisture to build up, which will in turn cause mold growth. You can simply repair the inner plastic layer by using clear packing tape to cover the holes.
applying a quality UV vinyl protection to your hot tub cover three to four times a year, will help protect it from the harmful effects of exposure to the sun, such as drying and cracking.
